As a USA Hockey-sanctioned Tier III Junior A team in the NA3HL, they provide young athletes with a crucial stepping stone to higher levels of the sport, from Canadian major junior to collegiate and professional hockey. The Great Falls Electric, established in June 2023, have electrified Montana's sports scene as the state's sole professional basketball team. Competing in The Basketball League's (TBL) Western Conference, they play their home games at Swarthout Fieldhouse on the Great Falls High School campus. In their inaugural 2024 season, the Electric made a significant impact, with standout player Antwaan Cushingberry earning TBL Rookie of the Year honors. As their second season kicks off, the Electric continue to bring high-caliber basketball and vibrant community engagement to Great Falls.
The Great Falls Voyagers have been a staple of Montana baseball since 1948, evolving from the Electrics to their current identity, inspired by a famous local UFO sighting. As a proud member of the independent Pioneer League, the team continues to bring exciting baseball action to Centene Stadium, where generations of fans have gathered to cheer them on. With 12 league titles under their belt, the Voyagers are gearing up for another thrilling season, kicking off on May 20 against the Glacier Range Riders. Baseball, community, and a touch of the extraterrestrial, there’s nothing quite like a summer with the Voyagers.

The University of Providence Argonauts bring top-tier collegiate competition to Great Falls, representing the university across a range of sports in the NAIA’s Frontier Conference. From the hardwood to the ice, the Argos compete in basketball, soccer, wrestling, track and field, volleyball, and more, each team carrying a tradition of excellence and determination. Their men’s hockey program made waves with a Mountain West Collegiate Hockey League championship in 2020, further cementing their reputation as fierce competitors.
