Great Falls High School Drama Club & Theatre Department will open the production of “ACROSS THE PLAINS: The Journey of the Donner Party. The performance runs May 2-4 and May 9-11. Catch the 7:30 p.m. performances on Thursdays and Fridays and the 2 p.m. performance on Saturdays. Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults. The Great Falls Symphony will close out its Encore! Cascade Quartet performance from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the First Congressional United Church. Along with Beethoven and Schumann, this concert presents the inaugural chamber selection for the GFSA’s Second Performance Project: Avik Sarkar’s "From Voices," which includes recordings of remarkable narratives and stories from Boston’s immigrant community.
